HH WILL IMPOSE HIMSELF ON ZAMBIANS - MUMBI

- By NATION REPORTER

MUMBI Phiri says President Hakainde Hichilema will impose himself on Zambians if he loses the 2026 election.

Ms Phiri said the political scenario going on in the country had never happened before and signs were clear that Mr Hichilema would force himself on Zambians should he lose the 2026 election.

“The political scenario in Zambia has never happened before. President Hichilema and UPND keep on lying. There is a lot of lying and it is like now it is a new normal - to lie,” Ms Mumbi, a former Patriotic Front deputy secretary general said.

She said there was nothing political which the UPND did but lies.

She said even the Luanshya visit was a lie as there would be no jobs in the short term.

Ms Mumbi said President Hakainde Hichilema had been lying about projects which the PF started such as the toilets on the Copperbelt.

She said the head of State had always been talking about himself instead of working.

Ms Mumbi said PF recognised President Hichilema as the head of State unlike what UPND did when they were in opposition when they refused to recognise Mr Edgar Lungu as the Republican President.

“If Zambians are expecting anything from this Government, then they are joking. The way we have seen him imposing himself on things he has not done, such as on the Kuomboka, even when he loses the election, he is ready to impose himself. So, Zambians wake up,” she said. She said however that Zambians would not agree to lies.

Ms Mumbi said the change of Government was eminent as preached by a Seventh Day Adventist and so Mr Hichilema should watch his governance closely.

And Ms Mumbi said it was shocking that Rizwan Patel, PF official in Petauke was still incarcerated.

Ms Mumbi said she was very happy that UPND had concentrated on trying to destroy the PF instead of bringing development to the country.
