POLITICIANS MUST FIND SOLUTIONS TO ZAMBIA’S ECONOMIC CRISIS-LM

- By NATION REPORTER

THE Leadership Movement (LM) has challenged politicians to stop the blame game and find solutions to economic challenges the country is facing.

Party secretary general, Jairos Ngoma, said politicians must always put it on their mind that once the crisis is curtailed it will benefit majority Zambians.

He said the politics of finger pointing is long gone but ensure that solutions are brought on the table so that the country’s economic wheels can change.

Mr Ngoma said selfish politicians should never be tolerated by Zambians because they do not mean well for the country.

Mr Ngoma said those in opposition need to prove to the Zambians that they are capable of removing the country from the current situation.

The secretary general said, it is saddening that Zambian politicians only want to blame those in government which should not be the case.

“For us our politics are different, we are not in politics to finger point but giving solutions to the challenges the country is facing. If something is done, the Zambian people will appreciate us because we have provided a solution that can change things in the country.

See what is happening a small pack of mealie meal (Pamela) is fetching about K30, this is way too much for the poor Zambian people. So, we the politicians we need to sit down and see how best this situation can be addressed.

“Please, for the sake of the Zambians lets conduct our politics differently so that things can normalise in Zambia because a number of people are highly affected,” Mr Ngoma said.
