Angelina Jolie’s daughter drops Brad Pitt’s last name

-

ANGELINA Jolie’s daughter Zahara was spotted out in Los Angeles on Wednesday, after it was revealed that she recently dropped her father Brad Pitt’s last name.

The 18-year-old was casual cool for the outing, rocking a lavender cardigan over a white t-shirt, black pants and slip-on shoes.

She accessorised her look with gold hoops and sported a black face mask to protect herself from coronavirus.

Zahara’s latest sighting comes just a month after she seemingly dropped her father’s, 59, last name as she joined a sorority at Spelman College.

In a video of the teen’s induction into Alpha Kappa Alpha, the first historically Black sorority in the Greek system, she introduced herself as Zahara Marley Jolie.

Per People, the teen says in the excerpt: “My name is Zahara Marley Jolie. And (I) landed all the way from the Golden State in the city full of angels: Los Angeles, California.”

Angelina and sons Pax, 19, and Maddox, 22, supported Zahara as she was inducted into the AKA sorority.

The 48-year-old actress was dressed in a modest, understated black dress as her sons joined to watch their sister’s milestone.

Angelina and Brad split seven years ago, but the exes have been embroiled in a contentious years-long feud over custody, the circumstances under which their relationship ended and their ongoing business affairs.

The notable name exclusion did not go unnoticed by various social media users. “I wasn’t gonna say anything, but I definitely peeped that Zahara left Pitt off her last name,” tweeted one viewer.

“Oh Zahara said her last name is Jolie, not Jolie-Pitt,”another posted.

“I need people to respect her as an individual who just said her name out loud ZAHARA. MARLEY. JOLIE. Zero mention of the name PITT. Periodt,” another posted.

Zahara is currently a sophomore at Spelman College, a historically Black women’s college in Atlanta,

Georgia.

Last month it was revealed that Angelina and Brad’s adopted son Pax called his father a “world-class a**hole” and “despicable person” who makes his four youngest children “tremble in fear” in explosive Instagram rant posted for Father’s Day 2020.

The star has found it “depressing to see this dragged up”, according to sources close to him, who went on to rubbish the claims.

But in a cutting post, Pax wrote: “You have made the lives of those closest to me a constant hell.’

“You may tell yourself and the world whatever you want,” he added, “but the truth will come to light someday.” —Daily Mail
