First Lady to officially open Youth Games
FIRST Lady Doctor Amai Grace Mugabe will open this year’s Zimbabwe National Youth Games set to be held in Chinhoyi, Mashonaland West province next month. The Games will run from August 13-21. “The guest of honour is the preserve of the local organising committee in consultation with the SRC and that has been done. As SRC we have since advised the Minister of Sport and Recreation who will in turn formally request the First Lady as per protocol,” said Muchechetere.
The acting director general said in as far as the state of preparedness by Chinhoyi was concerned, the commission was happy with what is taking place on the ground.

He has opened doors to all key government and political offices for the committee,” said Muchechetere.
Minister Chidarikire officially launched the games at the Chinhoyi University of Technology last Friday.
