BAC Leisure Tonight DJ Mark Vu­sani hosts the “Throw­back” along­side DJs Nospa, Tick Tock and Vul­can. To­mor­row it’s a Jame­son party in mem­ory of kwaito star Man­doza with DJs Vano, Slam, Frostie and guest DJ Lady CP. On Sun­day the nightspot hosts the record­ing of the Hot­mix Ses­sions TV show with DJs Tick Tock, Kead Wikead, Slimza and Skaiva.

En­ter­tain­ment will MISS Tourism Zim­babwe (MTZ) pa­tron – Bar­bara Mzembi has de­clared that a model from Bu­l­awayo will make top three in the com­pe­ti­tion.

Over the past two weeks, the Miss Tourism Trust has been con­duct­ing au­di­tions around the coun­try. They stopped by in Bu­l­awayo on Wed­nes­day to con­duct au­di­tions at the Rain­bow Ho­tel ahead of the fi­nale slated for Novem­ber 25 in Harare. Though the turnout was low as only 15 mod­els at­tended, Mzembi was im­pressed by the qual­ity.

“I’m im­pressed with the qual­ity of girls in Bu­l­awayo. I re­ally think that if one of the girls isn’t the winner, she’ll make top three at the fi­nale,” she said af­ter the au­di­tions.

“I won’t say names, but when we were with the scout­ing team, we saw one who re­ally im­pressed us.”

Among those who were au­di­tioned were Ash­ley Mor­gan, Sibu­sisiwe Falala, Dorothy Mathe, Merylin Ng­wenya, Noku­lunga Ny­athi, Ten­dayi Sibanda, Zandile Ncube, Mem­ory Chapin­duka, Mary Anne Ncube, Con­fi­dence Musi­iwa, Re­becca Ndebele and No­maqhu Ncube.

The scout­ing team com­prised Mzembi, for­mer Miss Tourism Zim­babwe Lor­raine Maphala-Phiri and Ben­jamin Chimutengo.

Mzembi also heaped praises on Maphala-Phiri who is now a busi­ness­woman, say­ing she was a great ex­am­ple of a beauty queen.

“Lor­raine was Miss Tourism Zim­babwe in 2005 and she’s an ex­am­ple of what pageants can do for a girl. She be pro­vided by P.O.Y. South­ern Djembe Na­tives, DJs Prince, Dee Cee, Krayze and Korup­tk­ing.

Club 263 DJ Kead Wikead will tonight host the weekly “Party on George”. To­mor­row it’s the Caribbean Party & Fash­ion show with Obama the host sup­ported by DJs Kead Wikead, Nospa, St Willz, FFsF Molfy and CP. Raunchy dancers Bev and Zoey will on Sun­day face off at a show dubbed “Dou­ble Trou­ble”.

Katso Sports Bar Tonight it’s “Woza Fri­day” with DJ Mgoe. To­mor­row DJ Mgoe re­turns as she hosts the “Satur­day Mix”. She will be joined by guest DJ Smallz. On Sun­day it’s the “Old School mu­sic” night with DJ Lamza.

Cresta Churchill Tonight it’s “Jazz Night” with the Friends Band ser­e­nad­ing pa­trons. On Sun­day Pros­per Tshuma and the Smart Band will take over.

Hori­zon Night Club A “Mon­thend Mad­ness Party” will be held tonight with DJs Noma Dat Girl, Calvin, Te­flon, El Don and DBongz Deeper. The an­nual shorts and Bikini’s party is on to­mor­row hosted by DJs Joe tha OG, Miles, La­custo, Que Bass and Lasky.

Pri­vate Lounge The club’s al­lur­ing dancers will con­tinue en­ter­tain­ing rev­ellers with DJs Sweeto, Tawaz and Del­roy on the decks. Nketa 8 Sports Bar Dakamela Su­per Sounds and Zim Splash will en­ter­tain rev­ellers tonight. Beauty Queens take over has started her own busi­ness and has been nom­i­nated for a busi­ness award. This shows that pageants aren’t about beauty alone, but can en­hance the girl child,” said Mzembi.

She said the girls who will be se­lected to rep­re­sent Bu­l­awayo at the fi­nale will be con­tacted next month, about two weeks be­fore boot camp.

“We’ve au­di­tioned over 60 girls who’ll be trimmed down to 18,” she said.

“Dur­ing boot camp, we’ll trim the girls to 15 for the fi­nale on Novem­ber 25.”

She said those who may have missed re­gional au­di­tions should not de­spair as they have a na­tional au­di­tion that will be held in Harare on a date to be ad­vised.

To­day, the Miss Tourism Zim­babwe scout­ing team will be in Gweru for au­di­tions at the ZTA of­fices with as­pir­ing mod­els from Zvisha­vane and the City of Progress be­ing in­vited to at­tend. - @bon­ganinkunzi to­mor­row with DJs Tshola, Nkan­dura and Bil­lard and Hen­rix on ro­ta­tion. On Sun­day, it’s the “In door Jazz and lo­cal Chill Zone” for the ma­ture with DJ Hen­rix.

Nketa Neigh­bour­hood Tav­ern Tonight it’s the Fri­day Groove with DJ Fun­mas­ter. Rhumba singer Ndux Ju­nior and Bat­shele Brothers will to­mor­row hold a live show with DJ Fun­mas­ter on the decks. On Sun­day it’s the Jazz Mu­sic Party with DJ Fun­mas­ter.

New Emagu­meni Sports Bar Tonight the ever bub­bly MaT­ing ting hosts “Ladies Night”. DJ DN­cie Mavala will en­ter­tain rev­ellers to­mor­row and Sun­day for the “Stokvel Night”.

T-Junc­tion Sports Bar (New Loben­gula) The “Funky Fri­day” party ses­sions are on tonight with res­i­dent DJs Mavesto, Houzen and Buthoz on ro­ta­tion. The res­i­dent DJs will be back to­mor­row for the “Kasi Vibez” and “Kasi Flavour Nights”. On Sun­day it’s the “Old School Party” ses­sion with res­i­dent DJs.

The Lounge DJs Jaiza and Keezy will host the “Week­end Party starter” tonight with a mix of old and new songs. DJs Jaiza and Cris Rocx will take over to­mor­row with the “Week­end Grooves”.
