Connie returns to
White City Stadium OVER 50 artistes will tomorrow perform at a show dubbed Honour our heroes. The artistes who intend to Fill Up White City include Sandra Ndebele, Guluva 7, Jeys Marabini, Clement Magwaza, Black Umfolosi, Iyasa, Mzoe 7, Zinja ziyamluma, Nkwali, DJ Mzoe and Kupenya Stars.
Club 263 Tonight DJs Kead Wikead, St Mills and Fff Molfy host “Area Codes”. The resident DJs resume their duties tomorrow as they host a “Party Cruise”.
Club Eden (Ascot Racecourse) The nightspot this week holds its 3rd Anniversary party. The festivities kick off today during the “Feel Good Fridays” with resident DJs.
Tomorrow the main celebrations will be headlined by an all female cast of DJs Liz, Noma that Girl, Miss Pam and CP along with the resident DJs Slamma, Keezy and Miles. Umqombothi (Nkulumane) Dynamite Chicks will tonight entertain revellers. Tomorrow it’s the “Ladies vs Gents Night” with resident ACTRESS Connie Ferguson is set to reprise her role as Karabo on popular SABC 1 soapie Generations: The Legacy next year.
“Connie Ferguson has returned to Generations. She started shooting with the show recently and the cast and crew are excited by her return,” Generations spokesperson Gaaratwe Mokhethi told TshisaLIVE.
Connie is expected to appear on screens in January next year.
“We ( Generations team) have a great relationship with Connie and so when we called her to help us with her story line, she was happy to return.”
Gaaratwe said Connie would be on screen for some time but the length of her stay on the show would be determined by her storyline.
“She’ll be on screens for as long as her storyline needs DJs. On Sunday it’s “Stokvel Sundays”.
BAC Leisure Dancehall DJs Smylie, Simmz and Mad Vancho of Legendary Sounds will be entertaining patrons tomorrow.
Private Lounge Tonight, the club’s alluring dancers will entertain revellers while the same mouth watering performances from the strippers can be expected tomorrow and Sunday.
Mguza Caravan Park DJs Prince, Elder Mohawk and Wallace will be on the decks during tomorrow’s “Open Air Experience” gig at the outdoor joint.
Horizon Bar and Restaurant Resident DJs will be on the decks tonight. Black Troop DJs take over the reins for tomorrow’s “Summer Carnival” with performances from Thabbz, POY, Upperklass Prime Suspects and Blayzie Boi among others.
The Lounge DJs J.za and Marcus Andro will host “Feel Good Fridays” tonight. The “Xplosive Weekends” with Kananjo and Marcus Andro will keep the momentum tomorrow. The “Stokvel Night” with Kananjo and J.za will bring down the curtain at the joint.
Nketa Neighbourhood Tavern Tonight it’s “Ama Freaky Friday” with resident DJ Funmaster. Snipers dance group take over proceedings tomorrow. “Sunday Chillas” will follow.
New Emagumeni The city’s finest young talent will have another chance to impress the powers that be at the joint tonight when the DJ search continues. Tomorrow and Sunday, resident DJs Mavala and his Cool Kats will entertain revellers.
Club Marisha (New Magwegwe) Shosholoza Queens will give revellers value for their money tonight before Lady Dee hosts “Ladies Night” tomorrow. DJ Zulu’s jams will bring the weekend to a close on Sunday.
Ace Lounge DJ Khumz will serenade revellers on the decks while New Age dance group will handle the stage work. Hlokoloza dancers take over tomorrow while Jah Dread and DJ Simple Studio alongside Bulawayo Queens and Kings showcase their talent on a night dubbed the “Super Sunday”.
