Put your trust in God

-

Psalm 118 vs 8

“It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man.”

It’s very common for people to always find fault in the people that lead them. It’s so much easier to be critical of our leaders, than it is to be supportive.

Our Christian spirit requires us to be full of love and compassion. Sadly, when times are hard, we tend to become intolerant to the point of being outright mean.

The issues of life are the domain of our Maker, although they may appear as if they are solely the responsibility of our earthly rulers. In our quest to find happiness, let us not be drawn into forsaking our Christian virtues and let’s not give the responsibility of life to lesser mortals.

Our Lord, as the creator and author of life, has the infinite power to change circumstances. Let us not look at man to be the solution to the challenges we face. Let’s rather put our faith in the one who can, our Father in heaven who is the Alpha and the Omega.

When the time is right, as appointed by Him, He will make all things right. Our winter of discontent will soon be gone.Let us have faith. Be blessed REFLECTIONS OF A WORK IN PROGRESS . . .
