FOLLOWING flooding in different parts of the country, I hope all of us will play a part to help one another. Government has so far mobilised resources, but those who can do more should not hesitate to lend a helping hand. This will go a long way to making a difference. — Lovemore Kashawo, Kuwadzana.

ZIMPF lacks vision and is a sure case of the blind leading the blind. Anyone who harbours thoughts of ZimPF forming the next Government is out of touch with reality. Joice Mujuru’s massive fall from grace is a matter of public knowledge. ZimPF or the National People’s Party will go the same way its counterparts went, down the drain. — Abel Mwalimu Mlanzi, Harare.

Social entities such as artistes, musicians, clerics, politicians and community leaders have the moral obligation to expose and condemn the evils of xenophobia. The eradication of the scourge of xenophobia in South Africa calls for concerted efforts from all people across Africa. — Leon Lankeni, Harare.

If the report is true, it’s a very bad and embarrassing development. Traditional leaders are custodians of our culture, traditions and sound morals. They also maintain good relationships among the rural folk and local communities. Let’s hold our chiefs in high esteem and give them the respect they deserve. — Thomas Murisa, Harare.
