The seasons of life

-

Be blessed Ecclesiastes 3 vs 1

“To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven”

The contrast of seasons shows the stark difference in timing that exists in the world. We are coming to the conclusion of our winter in Southern Africa, the environment appears parched and very dry. Everything is currently subdued, the paths that come out of the veld are prominent and the grass looks tired and brown.

Everything looks worn and tired but a few months from now it will be the rainy season. With the advent of the first rains, all of these things that seem dead will come alive. The colours of the flora will pop up, dainty flowers will bloom, green grass will grow and flowing streams of water will refresh the land.

Our lives are like that as well, defined by time but not forgotten. We all go through different seasons. Are you going through a dry patch currently where everything seems dead? Pray to God to bring the rains in your life and everything will come alive again.

Everything that is dead will come to life again. Don’t give up, just wait for the shifting of the seasons to occur according to His perfect divine plan for your life. Listen closely, you will hear the sound of abundance of rain.
