National Foods affords farmers to share tips

- Business Reporter

NATIONAL Foods hosts a stock feeds poultry winter fair tomorrow at their Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF).

The giant agro processing firm said the programme would afford farmers an opportunity to share tips and ideas about profitable poultry farming with experts in rearing and marketing.

“Poultry winter fair is a free exciting fun day where poultry farmers will be sharing tips and ideas about profitable poultry farming with experts in rearing and marketing.

“There will be fun games, a petting zoo and jumping castles for the children at the fair,” said National Foods in a statement. The event will start at 9AM. “Poultry farmers will gain enriching insight into the poultry industry.

“They will have a chance to interact with technical advisors, vets and suppliers during live demonstrations, which will teach them how to breed chickens properly for maximum profits,” it said.

The winter fair will have animal displays for both layers and broilers.

The public will have an opportunity to ask technical advisors, suppliers and vets about their poultry. Technical advisors will be available to educate poultry farmers about winter breeding.

National Foods Stockfeeds has also launched a new and improved feed to their already vast collection.

The feed is set to transform the livestock industry by offering farmers the option to customise their formulations if they so require. Better feed leads to better livestock.
