IT will ill be another dry weekend for Bulawayo football all fans after the Premier Soccer League postponedoned a league match between Bulawayo City and troubled roubled champions Caps United that was set for Barbourfieldsarbourfields Stadium tomorrow.

In a statement yesterday, the PSL said it shall announceunce the new dates later, without giving reasonsns for the postponement, although it is largely believedved that Zimbabwe’s crucial African Nations Championshipmpionship (Chan) second-leg qualififier qualifier against Namibiabia at the National Sports Stadium is the reasonn for the postponement.

Makepekepe kepekepe have three players in the squad, Ronald ld Chitiyo, Devon Chafa and Abbas Amidu, and hence can rightfully request a postponement of theirir match.

Caps ps are six games behind the rest of the teams in the e league due to their Caf Champions League campaign aign in which they participated and the catch-up -up games might weigh heavily against them. They have been struggling ever since their exit from the continental jamboree.

They ey were humbled 1-3 by How Mine on Wednesdaynesday night to leave them rooted in the dreaded readed relegation bracket alongside Tsholotsho, otsho, Bantu Rovers and Hwange, a massivessive 18 behind the leading pack.

Flaring ring rumours of their key players crossing the flooroor to join cash flush Yadah FC as a result of salary alary ar re ars , are also disturbing to their supporters.

Big goalkeeper Edmore Sibanda, who missed Wednesday’s loss, Phineas Bamusi and Joel Ngodzo are said to be unsettled at the Green Machine, although chief executive officer Cuthbert Chitima rubbished their exit rumours. — @ skhumoyo2000
