Tsvangirai not fooling anyone
EDITOR — I write to express my disgust at MDC-T leader, Morgan Tsvangirai’s clearly insulting attempts to blame Zanu-PF, Government and CIO for the violence endured by Thokozani Khupe, Lovemore Moyo and Abednico Bhebhe at the hands of the youths within his party.
It is as clear as day that MDC-T youths perpetrated this dastardly act on the directive of senior party members. Tsvangirai, must learn to accept responsibility for his party’s weaknesses and take corrective action instead of seeing shadows everywhere.
The streak of violence emanates from Tsvangirai himself for threatening to remove President Mugabe from office violently in 2002.
Since then it has been a free-for-all with the assault of Trudy Stevenson, Elton Mangoma, murder of police Inspector Petros Mutedza, burning of ZBC and police vehicles and looting of shops in central Harare.
Tsvangirai needs to do serious self-introspection and assess his means of attaining power.
He is leaving a trail of destruction in pursuit of his ambition, which unfortunately he is undoing through violence, lack of political astuteness and disconnection with the grassroots people of Zimbabwe.
It seems there is a serious strain of violence in opposition circles, who remembers when Jealousy Mawarire almost crippled Gift Nyandoro when they were fighting to be Joice Mujuru`s parrots? Tererai Danga
