FLASHBACK, “MAWII, MAWII.” You could hear multitudes of soccer fans in a stadium, chanting his name during his playing days. 22 August marks two years since the late great midfield star, Willard “Mawii” Khumalo passed on. MHDSRIP — Lovemove Kashawo, Harare

WE ought to celebrate Africa day under the auspices of AU, how about having 17August as Sadc Day as a holiday for Southern Africa nations? — Lovemore Kashawo, Harare.

I WOULD like to say thumbs up to KFC for opening a branch at Bradfield, Bulawayo. I am a bit disappointed that their portion of chips is very small, can they do something about it please. — Ndabazikasihle, Emganwini, Bulawayo.

RESPONSE to “Underpaid worker commits suicide”. THE wage this poor young man was being paid by his employer in my opinion is i) illegal ii) inhuman iii) degrading and iv) disgraceful. Employers have been brought to book for far less minimum wage violations. Hopefully, Ministry of Labour and the General Agricultural and Plantation Worker’s Union will take serious and immediate action against this very EVIL employer. — Siyafa, Insiza.

RESPONSES to “ZPC Kariba edges Shabanie Mine.” Mhofu you are a good coach, keep on working hard. — Eliah01.

THERE is no need to blame anyone. Either one of the teams could have lost. You should be concentrating on polishing the rough edges for better performance. — Kundai.

RESPONSE to “Scott Vincent shines in Asia”. WELL done Scott! You are making the country proud keep on raising the flag high and showing the world that Zimbabwe is good at everything especially sporting activities. — Mutoko Takura.

RESPONSE to “Mighty Warriors coach names provisional squad.” ZIMBABWE’S record scoring in the regional Cosafa Women’s Championship will count for nothing if our Golden Girls do not capitalise on the added advantage of home-ground advantage. With Zimbabwe set to host the Championship next month, we expect our Mighty Warriors to excel in the regional women football showpiece having participated in the more fierce 2016 Olympic Games held in Brazil where they gained valuable experience at the highest level of football. — Felix Zonke.
