Zim citrus fruits perfect for Chinese market

EDITOR: Cordial relations with other countries have immense benefits to the involved parties. Zimbabwe and China have been in good books for a long time now and both countries seem to be enjoying this friendly relations.

It is good to learn that China is interested in importing citrus fruits from Zimbabwe and they have already started inspecting most of Zimbabwe’s citrus farms.

China is one of the fastest growing economies of the world. Gaining support from such a country is not to be taken for granted and Zimbabwe should maximise these opportunities presented to it.

We are very confident in our agricultural products because we do not make use of GMOs. The taste of everything produced on our land is organic.

The quality of Mazoe juice produced in our country bears testimony that our citrus fruits are of a high grade. No other country can compete with Zimbabwe in the production of orange juice and that is something we can boast about and take full advantage of.

Zimbabweans also benefit health wise from this excellent production of citrus fruits. It is well established that citrus and citrus products are a rich source of vitamins, minerals and dietary fibre that are essential for normal growth and development and overall nutritional well-being.
