He said the expo will be held at Efusini in Makokoba on Friday and Saturday.

“It will be one of the biggest health expos that have been held in Bulawayo as people will not only get education but treatment too. Those who need X-rays will be referred to Mpilo for free and eye operations will be conducted there,” Rtd Col Dube said.

“It is mainly targeting the elderly who cannot afford to finance their medication. However, everyone is welcome to seek the doctors’ attention.”

He said the fair is meant to benefit the whole constituency. “This is an effort by the Makokoba constituency, meant to benefit the people in my constituency. I encourage other MPs to do the same for their constituencies,” Rtd Col Dube said.

He said there will be more than 20 doctors attending to those suffering from cancer, diabetes or are HIV positive.

Rtd Col Dube said the expo may extend to Sunday if doctors fail to attend to people within the two days. — @ NyarieBakie
