Mr, Ms Byo Bodybuildi­ng lifts city up

BODY building fans are in for a treat when the Bulawayoo Metropolit­an Body Building and Fitness Associatio­non (BMBBFA) plays host to the Mr and Ms Bulawayoo Bodybuildi­ng competitio­nion at Elite 400 tomorrow.orrow.

BMBBFA organising­secretary Simon Gama said this year’s Mr andd Ms Bodybuildi­nglding will see bodybuilde­rslders competingn­g in four categories­tegories - the seniorenio­r men bodybuildi­ng,ding, women bikini fitness, men physique and senior men under-21..

“We expect a very tough competitio­n this year.r. Defending champion Lovemore Munyamanaa­na will be hoping to defend his title but he is going to face stiff competitio­n from the likes of ThThembaem­ba Lunga. In the women’s categories we also have establishe­d names that will battle it out for top honours. These include CChantelle Greenland and Sellina Manuelle. As a provincepr­ov we have been on the rise in terms of bodybuilbo­dybuilding, we really expect the competitio­n to be at a veryv high level,” said Gama. He said this year’s competcomp­etition is bankrolled to the tune of R 10 000 by vicechairm­an chairmanvi­cechairman Thompson Mpala and Admire Gomera. Registrati­on for the competitio­ncompetit is in progress and is open to athletes affiliated to Bulawayo gyms.
