Nine sus­pen­sions for PSL mid­week games

CHAM­PI­ONSHIP chas­ing Dy­namos and Chicken Inn will play their re­spec­tive games with­out key play­ers as they will be serv­ing sus­pen­sions. Ngezi Plat­inum Stars, FC Plat­inum, Dy­namos and Chicken Inn are all in the cham­pi­onship race. FC Plat­inum are tied on 63 points with lead­ers Ngezi, while Dy­namos are two points be­hind in third po­si­tion and Chicken Inn are on 59 points.

Dy­namos face Bulawayo City this af­ter­noon at Bar­bour­fields Sta­dium with­out key striker, Chris­tian Epoupa, who is among nine play­ers sus­pended af­ter ac­cu­mu­lat­ing three yel­low cards.

Chicken Inn have a crunch tie against Ngezi at Baobab Sta­dium this af­ter­noon and will be with­out gritty mid­fielder Tha­bani Gore­dema, who has been one of the Game­cocks’ out­stand­ing play­ers, pro­vid­ing cover for his de­fence.

Rel­e­ga­tion threat­ened Yadah FC will miss the ser­vices of Jo­hannes Sibanda and Jimmy Dzin­gai.

Rel­e­gated Tsholot­sho take on FC Plat­inum at Lu­veve Sta­dium with­out de­fen­sive mid­fielder Tatenda Tavengwa and Black Rhi­nos will be with­out Tau­rai Chigudu for their tie against Harare City. Trou­bled gi­ants High­landers go into their derby against How Mine with­out util­ity player Erick Mudz­ingwa and God­frey Makaruse, while the gold min­ers will seek to re­cover from a 1-3 Chibuku Su­per Cup fi­nal de­feat against Harare City with­out the in­flu­en­tial Mil­ton Ncube. — @ZililoR.
