Improve fuel supplies to lower prices

-

EDITOR: The improvement of fuel supplies should bring about a decrease in the price of fuel.

There has been an outcry of fuel price rising acutely and this has posed as an inconvenience to everyone.

The shortage of fuel and its price increase affects everyone negatively because those who operate public transport then increase their fares. This becomes a burden to a lot of people because of the cash shortages being currently experienced.

People tend to travel a lot during the festive season therefore the demand for transport would have been overwhelming if the fuel supply had not improved.

Those who do businesses of operating these public vehicles would also use the fuel shortage excuse. Now that it can be accessed, we hope to be charged fairly by both service stations and public vehicles.

Other businesses are also negatively affected by the fuel challenge because there is a need to transport goods and services. Our Government should try and make sure that our fuel supply is reliant and secure to avoid retrogression.

There is a need to work closely with organisations and departments that will make it easier for our country to get sufficient supply of fuel. We want to acknowledge and appreciate all the efforts that were and are being made to rectify this problem.
