Hebrews 12 vs 1

“. . . let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.”

God made us all in every shape and form possible, bright and beautiful, and to each one He gifted us with character, the attributes that make us who we are. Each one of us is distinctively made, we differ in every way possible and no matter how close we may resemble each other, we are all unique.

To each He has given gifts; for some it’s singing, for some it’s writing, while for others it’s sports, etc. Each one of us has something that we are good at, and if we sufficiently apply ourselves to it, it makes the difference as to who we are and what we are known for.

However within the realm of character, it must be defined by what we say and do. In the event that we have lost our focus, we must seek to find out where we may have gone wrong and ask the LORD to reshape and redirect our steps to become the people He envisaged us to be.

So many have wandered very far from where He intended them to be, they have lost the attributes He gifted them with and if they had held on to the gifting He gave them, success would have come naturally.

For all the doors that may have closed and the opportunities that may have been lost all because we have departed from the essence of who we are, may He grant us the grace to revert to the place and person He intended us to be.

No matter how far you may have lost track, the LORD will grant you the ability to be who He wanted you to be, regardless of the time lost and the endless mistakes made. May we redefine our characters.

Be blessed
