“WAIT on the LORD; Be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the LORD!”

Speed, or haste, if not properly coordinated, can be a source of serious heartache. We are all guilty of being in a hurry in some way or form. For many it’s because they want to get ahead, while for others it’s as a result of a desire to compete, but nevertheless we are all guilty of trying to get to a place or a position ahead of the appointed time.

Very few people actually understand, or are in a position to reconcile with the fact that GOD has a plan for your life and if you allow Him, He will guide you to its fruition. We often put ourselves in all sorts of problems all because we want to go ahead of GOD’s time. We want to dictate the time and place when things should happen, and when we feel they are not moving at the pace that we want, we begin to manufacture our own outcomes.

The problem with manufactured outcomes is that they almost always backfire and give us results we never anticipated. Are you just about to play GOD? Take a step back, say a prayer, and ask GOD to lead you rather than the other way round! GOD’s plans and outcomes are always best. Allow Him to lead you today.
