Twitter Response to “Masendeke murders rival suitor” THE Masendekes still terrorising Kwekwe? — Ma1 @ Marqusim

Website Responses to “Cops demand guns” POLICE no longer have guns so why should ordinary Zimbabweans possess them? I am sure those who have the guns illegally will not surrender them for verification. You should have said those who illegally possess guns should bring them and surrender them to the government and also offer them amnesty for doing so. — Cecil of Mosi-oa-Tunya

Responses to “New dispensation scores big: SB Moyo” THIS Sibusiso Moyo is a smart guy, amazingly very sharp indeed — Macd.

THIS is good for Zimbabwe. And to quote Trevor Ncube, “If we support Mnangagwa and the new dispensation we would have supported Zimbabwe because if they fall we all fall and if they win we all win as well”. It is clear that a paradigm shift from Mugabe tradition is underway and hope is high. — Edmond Mutembo

Responses to “Govt urges nurses to end strike” NURSES deserve a pay rise. Teachers too. But I am not sure everyone else in government deserves a pay rise. In 2009 when government introduced the United States dollar, all civil servants were put in one bracket. This hasn’t changed much since then. You find nurses, teachers and doctors earning the same pay as general hands sweeping and cleaning the corridors. Yes, salaries are low for most civil servants, but the biggest problem is paying a nurse the same as a general hand. Government simply needs to restore the old salary scale and by doing so they don’t have to give everyone 200 percent salary or allowances increase. If doctors get 50 percent it doesn’t mean nurses and teachers will get the same percentage. Some may even get no increment for now. — Tendai.
