RESPONSE to “New dispensation scores big: SB Moyo.” Rome was not built in a day, give President Mnangagwa a chance and we will all judge him after five years in office. — Runesu Cuthbert.

RESPONSE to “All welcome to observe democracy in action: ED.” President Mnangagwa is what the doctor ordered. Even the opposition should appreciate his fairness and openness. — Machakachaka.

RESPONSE to “Our land is for Zimbabweans: President.” An important assertion on our land reform. We entrenched our land reform in our new Constitution. Our President is spot on. The reprisals from the West did not dampen our revolutionary spirit when sanctions were applied to punish us. Today we walk with our shoulders and heads up, while we take measures to improve land utilisation. We are celebrating our Independence with dignity. It is heartening that our brothers and sisters in South Africa have now come to this important matter of land reform also. They will learn from our takes and mistakes, but the bottom line is the necessity of land reform to give credence and dignity to their freedom from apartheid. A neo-apartheid economy in South Africa without land reform is anathema to Africa. — Cde Mzvinavhu.

RESPONSE to “All welcome to observe democracy in action: ED.” The President is saying “Let the best man win”. He is a good President for Zimbabwe. Let us give him an opportunity to implement his action plans. Let us give him five years! — Isiah Ushehwekunze.

RESPONSES to “Chamisa threatens violence.” I have said it before and I will say it again. With this kind of thinking in MDC T, they will never run this country. Tsvangirai tried it sometime back with his “go peacefully” speech, what became of him? Chamisa should learn. Do you think a sober voter will vote for him after reading his speech about violence? The whole world is preaching peace and it’s only him who is preaching violence. Shame on you Chamisa.— Washington Chimalizeni. AS a patriotic Zimbabwean all good work needs to be commended without passing unnecessary criticism based on political affiliation either Zanu-PF or opposition. Let us emulate the good work coupled with multi-tasked efforts done by the government to reengage the world. Zimbabwe is destined for good things. The country is open business investment as President Mnangagwa has been saying every day since he took office. — X-Zola.
