MDC Alliance’s complaints childish

-

EDITOR — We are happy with our electoral law in this country, which we used in free and fair elections in 2013.

That law was crafted during our Government of National Unity (GNU) to the total satisfaction of all parties in the GNU then.

The childish cries from MDC-T Alliance insinuating the need for further reforms is just political red herring as they are now gripped by the fear to lose again in the coming free and fair elections.

Unnecessary futile sniffing over our independent Zec and casting aspersion bordering on defamation will not improve the political fortunes of MDC-T Alliance.

The people of Zimbabwe are already angry that Chamisa continues to lobby for sanctions’ continuity. Why should MDC-T Alliance expect the people to vote for traitors?

Such unpatriotic behaviour will not make them win elections. They must leave Zec to execute its mandate lawfully.

As advised, the laws, including the electoral law, are amended in Parliament.

Has MDC-T Alliance tabled any private members Bill for further amendments to the electoral law in Parliament?

Any such amendments will be subjected to majority vote in the legislature, not at political rallies.

Continued negative insinuation against our retired soldiers is also not acceptable.

Are the MDC-T Alliance and political morons implying that it was wrong for us to be party of our government after our armed struggle because we had retired from Zanla/Zipra?

Forward Zimbabwe, never. Cde Mzvinavhu, Via – email backward
