Dynamos paying for failure to hold on to prized assets

-

EDITOR — DeMbare is simply paying the prize for its failure to hold on to prized assets.

In Cameroonian import, Joel Christian Epoupa Ntouba, Dynamos FC could not have asked for more in front of goal.

But, instead of doing their best to keep hold of him, Dynamos left things messy up to the last minute.

They should have simply paid his signing-on fee on time and put a little more love towards a man who was our leading marksman last season and one of the finest imports in recent years.

The leadership dragged their feet for a while, with the absence of the man we called “Nyakanyaka” being felt upfront as we tried to “convert” natural left-back Ocean Mushure into more of a winger instead of thrusting the Warriors defender-turned-midfielder into his natural left back position.

But the failure to address the Ntouba saga is not something new at all, we let-go a “wayward” but equally vital member of the team called Denver Mukamba to one of our rivals, Caps United FC.

Had Ntouba and Mukamba been around, DeMbare would not be languishing near the bottom of the log, but should have been at the top.

We should continue supporting the man at the helm of the team, our coach, our driver, our inspirational leader, Lloyd Mutasa, and then at least avoid losing more players in the near future. Felix Zonke, Harare
