Mr President don't be distracted by critics

-

EDITOR — Mr President, keep giving hope to this nation. While all the other counter forces spit vile and venom, you speak love and unity.

While the opposition is glued to past mistakes and still looking for more, you must understand that no statue was ever erected in honour of a critic. And, while, you are giving us hope and enthusiasm, it seems like the opposition’s new found profession is to attack you and provoke you.

Your enemies really get confused and they do not know what else to do when they pour scorn on you and you instead smile and love them in return.

We remember your experiences with Mrs Grace Mugabe and you delivered. We see you doing it again . . . in the process, overpowering the opposing forces of doom and darkness to bring this great nation grandeur and glory again.

It’s unfortunate that we have an opposition which has no other agenda than to criticise you. They should be preaching the same message as yours — a message of love, peace, unity and working together to make this nation great. Tafadzwa DENVER Mukamba is proving to be doing well where he is appreciated at Caps United. The young man is talented regardless of his mistakes, we all have our own. I think Dynamos is regretting losing a good player like him.— Simbarashe Mezi.

RESPONSE to “ED spells out leadership style”. People are free to express themselves unlike in Mugabe era. President Mnangagwa accepts negative feedback and works on it, that is good leadership. — Kevie Gore.

WHEN President Mnangagwa is speaking there is nothing about opposition parties, nothing about personalities; it’s all about Zimbabweans and their prosperity. Chamisa needs to learn. — Lilliank.

RESPONSE to “ED makes Time’s 100 most influential list”. The opposition always has negative comments, I wonder how they enjoy life. The man is on the list and they can’t change that . . . better celebrate with him. The list is not about Zanu-PF, MDC nor the economy but influence. Go Mr President. — John BN.

RESPONSE to “First Lady engages female lawyers”. Women of Zimbabwe I support you. We need you in all spheres of leadership and decision-making. This is a good initiative by our First Lady whom I prefer to call our mother. Support the girl child and create a better place for her so that in the future we may have a woman as President of Zimbabwe. It is very possible. — Tman Zimbabwe.

RESPONSE to “Another high-powered Chinese delegation”. Let them come, we welcome them. Doing business with a well-developed country like China spells good outcomes for Zimbabwe. We are looking forward to doing business with the Chinese people; they have great minds.— Mano Macho.
