The key to God’s blessings

Deuteronomy 28 vs 1 - 2 (NIV)

“If you fully obey the LORD your God and carefully follow all His commands I give you today, the LORD your God will set you high above all the nations on earth. All these blessings will come upon you and accompany you if you obey the LORD your God”

We all search for scriptures that speak of the promises that have been spoken about to those that love the Lord. We all want to possess; like Moses, we want to climb on high, look out, and see the grandeur of the things that God has promised us.

We diligently go through the Bible, seeking all the scriptures where God promised that “You shall . . .”, marking them, memorising them, and reading them repeatedly. All of us want to conquer and prosper, yet many of us are not willing to do what the Lord has said we must do.

We want the glory, but we do not want the conditions that come with the blessings. Are there things you feel have been explicitly promised to you, but you often wonder why you cannot cross your own Jordan river?

Start doing what He has called you to do, and with that, many a blessing will open up in your life.
