I AM very glad with the increasing number of academies. Academies are acting as good and necessary bridges between the team of school soccer talent and club football, especially with the current lack of vibrant junior policies within most of our club structures and junior league formats. I would like to applaud such clubs as Highlanders, FC Platinum, Hwange and Harare City for while they had senior teams they recently also had junior teams that were playing Division One football. — Soccer Lover.

RESPONSE to “Zim to regain breadbasket status — ED”. That’s very obvious and the maths is simple. All the incompetent, corrupt and clueless people from the levers of power and from the land should be removed. Some are keeping land for speculative purposes or in trust for their grandchildren yet to be born. That land could be used to produce. — Comfymayors.

RESPONSE to “UK extends $100m to Zim as ties improve”. Yet some are criticising the new dispensation, so much development is on the ground. I am sure after elections when all investors are sure about Mr President’s commitment, a lot more is going to come. Investors want leaders who are serious, who mean business not who are on a power hunt. — Musarurwa.

RESPONSE to “Vote ED for economic turnaround: VP Chiwenga”. That is true Vice President. So far President Mnangagwa has shown us what he can do. We have no doubt that our economy is on a recovery path. A few more months and all will be alright. — John Feruka.

RESPONSE to “Zim to regain breadbasket status – ED”. With Command Agriculture that is certainly inevitable. We just need to completely deal with corruption in this country to speed up any developments. — Musumare.

RESPONSE to “VP Mohadi slams gender based violence, early child marriages”. These problems are rampant in our nation and more needs to be done especially in rural areas. Children are affected mostly with the issue of child marriages. Arrest the culprits. — Xolani Banda.
