IT is with heartfelt thanks to the Good Samaritan lady who went to pick up the traffic police to attend to the accident that happened along Robert Mugabe and 13th Avenue on Monday. Your assistance is greatly appreciated, remain with Christ. — The Ladies in the Honda Fit, Bulawayo

THE story of Nssa and recipients of Nssa pensions as highlighted in The Chronicle on Monday makes sad reading having in mind the primary purpose of this organisation is to alleviate poverty on retirement. After contributing pension since Nssa’s inauguration up to 1999 while at the age of 25 years I find myself being rewarded with a monthly pension of $100 which becomes eroded in medical expenses for my wife and self as we suffer from ailments related to old age, that’s high blood pressure, diabetes and general body pain while Nssa bosses go to the bank every month smiling with hefty salaries just for heading the organisation and investing our contributions in dubious non-profit making ventures. While it is true that a fool is born every minute not all Nssa pensioners are such. We have only resigned to silence because we realise only God is the equaliser. — Ndabitshekile, Hillside, Bulawayo

RESPONSE to “Saviour Kasukuwere back in Zimbabwe”. It shows that Zimbabwe is now being run by human beings. If it was those of the past, Kasukuwere included, he would’ve been roasted by now. He’s enjoying a free Zimbabwe. — Chimwaura.

RESPONSE to “Chamisa and Khupe to use same party name, symbol”. This joke is funnier than all the other ones Chamisa tells. Well, let’s just see how it ends. — Charles Rueben.
