Gifted to Glorify

-

1 Peter 4 : 10 “Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms.”

I met a remarkable young lady with an amazing gift and a supportive husband who is not only her greatest cheerleader but her believer-inchief. With what God has given her and this pillar of strength by her side, she has managed to turn her gift into the supernatural. They have both left no stone unturned in nurturing and growing her gift and above all, sharing it with the world at large. Many a time we look for every excuse under the sun as to why we cannot excel or progress, we have made it a science to calculate and come up with why something cannot be.

A story is told in the bible where Jesus had to feed the five thousand. He asked His disciple Philip where they could buy bread so that they could feed the multitudes, Philip’s response was that two hundred silver coins worth of bread would not be enough for each one to have a bite. His mind was quick to find a reason why it could not be, rather than a solution to the problem, which could have been as simple as saying, “Through you Lord, sufficiency can be found,” considering he had been with the Lord for some time and he had seen that with him nothing was impossible.

This remarkable young lady has used her voice to minister; she did not look for reasons why she cannot use it, rather she has decided she will walk with the LORD and where He takes her and her voice, she goes. She continues to grow from strength to strength and she is breaking barriers and borders. The lesson today is don’t look at the magnitude or the size of the problem, look at your gifting; no matter how small it is, allow him to feed and nourish five thousand from just five loaves of bread and two fish. Let us say a special prayer of abundance for all those that continue to allow the Lord to use the gift of talent He has given them to make the world a better place. Who will you sing for today as He holds your hand into the realm of success?

Be blessed
