RESPONSE to “Zacc recovers US$100m in corruption assets”. Good news. However, may I also propose that a National Register of all assets and ill-gotten wealth be set and published in the Government Gazette. It is not just for transparency reasons, but ethical as well. We need to know those who have been looting the country so that we also monitor them. — Pardon Muyambo

RESPONSE to “Covid-19: President warns of further restrictions”. We are very grateful to all those assisting in various ways. What is however disturbing is that the “lockdown restrictions” that may be implemented are being associated with the evil and ill-timed July 31 demonstrations. I feel pity for Zimbabweans because they have been fed with much hatred and evil that they no longer see things in reality. When figures are there to prove that local infections are now much higher than returnees and you still have the likes of John and Noah Manyika advocating for demonstrations, you tend to agree that the devil and his demonic forces are at play in Zimbabwe. The government should proceed to implement whatever measures to contain the spread and also remove all undesirable elements within society so that we have sanity. Measures should be put in place so that we minimise or eradicate the spread. Why are people being allowed to congregate in public places e.g. Africa Unity Square, we have money changers openly transacting illegal deals at Eastgate and other hot spots. Does the police have adequate manpower to remove them? It seems Harare has returned to normal before the lockdown, no wonder why the latest number of 22 infected is in Harare. — L Makombe

RESPONSE to “We’re determined to re-engage: SB Moyo”. Thank you for articulating such important issues which should change the mindset of some people who had been fed poison by detractors. Zimbabwe is ready to engage with any willing partner on an equal footing and we are open for business to anyone willing to invest in the country. — John Sigauke
