KING 98, JUX DONATE GROCERIES, CASH

VISITING Tanzanian RnB sensation Jumma Jux and King 98 on Monday pampered an 18-year- old disabled boy from Warren Park 1 with groceries and cash as part of their corporate social responsibility.

Jux flew into Zimbabwe last Friday for a media tour, which has seen him visiting a number of radio stations for interviews.

His visit was buoyed by the success of their latest video to the song Jogodo, which has already been embraced by many as a triumph.

But it was Jux and King 98’s gesture which shocked Raymond Nyarufero’s mother Victoria Ngwende as they never expected the groceries.

“I don’t know how to thank King 98 because this gesture does not come from someone who does not have a special heart.

“It has not been easy for me to raise my son for 18 years in this condition, but we thank God for his mercy,” she said.

Speaking at the same event, King 98 said he had a soft spot for the disabled and less-privileged members of society.

“As an artiste, I decided to invite my brother so that we can come and help my brother after learning about his condition.

“Raymond is one of my fans and I decided to give him a Christmas present in the form of groceries.

“With this stuff that we brought here, it is my wish that you will be cushioned for a couple of weeks,” he said.

Similar sentiments were echoed by Jux, who was touched by King 98’s gesture.

“As popular figures we have a role to play and people like these brothers are some of our fans who need help,” he said.

Meanwhile, Jux and King 98’s entourage brought business to a halt as people jostled to get a glimpse of the two superstars.
