DESIST FROM BOARDING UNMARKED VEHICLES: ZRP
THE ZRP is warning members of the public against boarding unmarked and unauthorised pirate taxis and kombis. On 28/12/20 two men were robbed property worth US$267 and ZW$400 in Ruwa by unknown two male adults, after boarding a grey Toyota Wish in Ruwa destined for the Hre-CBD.
*A MBARE man was robbed of property worth US$1 591 after boarding an unspecified motor vehicle at HICC destined for Mbare.
*ON 27/12/20 a male adult was robbed cash amounting to US$37 and ZW$180 by three unknown male adults at Southview Park, Hre, after boarding an unmarked silver Toyota Wish at Mbudzi Roundabout predestined for Ushewekunze.
*ON 27/12/20 at about 2350 hours a male adult was robbed of cash amounting to US$55 and ZW$320 by unknown three men after boarding Toyota Mark ll along Charter Road Hre. #notorobbery

PARENTS are encouraged to always monitor their children whilst playing. On 26/12/20 at about 1230 hours and at Mbizo Suburb, Kwekwe, a minor aged five was injured through an explosion after she inserted a fuse like object which she picked whilst playing into a fire. As a result of the explosion, the victim sustained a ruptured thump, forefinger and middle finger.

ON 24/12/20 at about 1100 hours, a Bulawayo man lost a Silver Honda Fit Aria registration number ABH 7129 at Corner Fife Street and 13th Ave after he left the keys on the ignition whilst proceeding to his offices near a Service Station. He found the car missing after about 45 minutes. Meanwhile the ZRP encourages all property owners to be security conscious always and remain vigilant. #notocrime

POLICE in Concession have arrested three men and recovered a stolen Astra Pistol loaded with a magazine of six rounds and several sachets of dagga. The firearm was stolen from a car in Hre-CBD on 24/12/20 at around 1400 hours and the trio was arrested at a Security Roadblock after they tried to circumvent the checkpoint on foot. A bunch of house keys was also recovered from the suspects. Investigations are in progress. #notocrime

THE ZRP reiterates that couples should always seek counselling when faced with domestic disputes. On 24/12/20 a couple was discovered dead at Bote Village, Chief Nyakuchena, Mudzi. The body of the wife was found in a bedroom hut, covered with a blanket and had a deep cut on the neck below the collar bone. The body of the husband was found hanging from a thorn tree, with a belt on the neck and besides it was a blood stained steel axe. Meanwhile the bodies were taken to a local hospital for post mortem. #notomurder.

POLICE in Hre are investigating a case of armed robbery and rape which occurred in Whitecliff, on 23/12/20 at about 0300 hours. Six unidentified men stormed a security services premises and disarmed security guards on duty before they stole various properties including cash, cell-phones and a television set. One of the security guards was blindfolded and raped once. Police are appealing for information which may lead to the arrest of the vindictive suspects. #notorobbery&rape
