Pax Gomo drops three songs

- Arron Nyamayaro

GOSPEL musician Pax Gomo has launched his eighth album titled Heal Africa, a painkiller in these trying times.

The album with three tracks namely Heal Africa, National Parks my Pride and Ndawana Shamwari is of superior quality.

It comes on the heels of his seventh album Ringamirirei, which carries 14 tracks.

“I got time to intercede for the nation and meditate upon the word received before Covid19 and saw it best to pen a song for the healing of the continent,” said Gomo.

He urged people to be cautious of the Covid-19 pandemic with the second wave of infections feared.

“Covid-19 is real and the only way to remain safe is to stay away from gatherings and follow all precautionary health measures set by government and World Health Organisation.

“My previous project had 14 tracks, but this time the pandemic robbed us and changed even the calendar and seasons.

“In everything nature is a witness to the existences of God hence the pride for national parks in keeping and safeguarding our heritage,” said Gomo.

The album was officially launched by Apostle Stephen Mangwanya of New United Apostolic Faith church who said prophecy, praying for the sick and giving would end, but music remains forever.

“Angels sings and dance before the throne of God and that shows the importance of music.

“And here on earth, it heals, encourages and gives hope to the faint heart,” said Apostle Mangwanya.

“There is need to pray for our musicians because their songs have a great impact in our lives and must not be contaminated with here- say and falsehoods,” he said.
