Nyoni’s career dream
STRIKER Gabriel ‘Granvia’ Nyoni wishes to play alongside countrymen, Khama Billiat and Willard Katsande before his retirement.
Nyoni is currently with South Africa’s fi rst division side Cape United, after signing a one year contract which is set to expire in June 2021.
Speaking to H-Metro, Nyoni said his ambition is to make a return to SA’s topfl ight league before his retirement.
According to the forward, Kaizer Chiefs are his target.
“It is a huge possibility to return to the DSTV premier league, I just need to work hard and be faithful to God.
“When I return to the top fl ight league, my ambition is to play for Kaizer Chiefs, alongside best players like Khama Billiat and Willard Katsande.
“It is every player’s dream to play alongside stars. I personally want to play in the same team with Billiat and Katsande,” he said
The 29-year old midfielder said he wants to engage in the business of transport and logistics when he ends his career.
“I will start my transport and logistics company soon, so most probably I will end my career as an entrepreneur and will use my marketing degree in my own organisation,” added Nyoni.
In 2018, Nyoni moved to Harare giants, Caps United, after spending 6 seasons at Highlanders.
Nyoni added he would end his football career in Zimbabwe, though he is still to choose the team.
“I have perfect relations with Highlanders and also have a good relationship with Caps United. So I will defi nitely choose between the two but my first choice almost everyone knows,” Nyoni told H-Metro.
