MUSICIAN Pastor Lawrence Haisa reckons God has the answers and solutions to coronavirus which has claimed many.
The Kuwadzana-based gospel music stalwart poured his heart out in the new single aptly named Solutions which exhorts people to have faith in God.
“Right now, let’s face and admit that we don’t have a solution to the coronavirus which has claimed many.
“We can say all sorts of things but only God has solutions that we need to end the Covid-19 pandemic.
“As mere man, we must admit that we don’t have any tangible solutions but we would rather make an effort to ensure that we reduce and minimise the spread of the disease.
“It’s a disease that has been declared a global pandemic and its impact is severe that we can’t afford to ignore it as millions have been infected with many lives having been lost.
“As preachers, we need not mislead people but rather preach the word of
God as it is and urge people to have faith in God,” he said.
Pastor Haisa, who is set to launch the single today on local radio stations, said he was impressed by the response to his 11th album titled Mazuva released November last year.
“In November last year, I released an album called Mazuva and I am very grateful because my old fans are now coming back to me.
“It can only be God and His grace which is making them to come back to me.
“As an artiste called to worship the Lord, I will continue using my voice to reach out to many people.
“We are however affected by the Covid-19 pandemic such that we can’t continue operating the way we used to,” added Pastor Haisa.
The singer is one of the veterans of Zim Gospel music who rose to acclaim in the early 90s.
Pastor Haisa boasts of 11 polished albums which have endeared him with fans over the years despite being let down by his love life.
