- Entertainment Reporter

AFRO-FUSION crooner Ashton “Mbeu” Nyahora will this month cement his “bromance’’ with Mambo Dhutetere when the two release a single titled Samatenga later this month.

According to Mbeu’s manager Eugene Museredza, the Mhodzi Tribe camp is looking forward to the release of the single.

Museredza said Mbeu was determined to learn from others, especially artistes from other genres.

“I can confirm that we have finished working on the song titled Samatenga.

“It’s our hope that the single will be released later this month, while the video with come early next month,” he said.

The affable manager said it was a marvel working with Dhuterere, who is no stranger to Zimbabweans resident locally and abroad.

“We all know what Dhuterere is capable of and the talent he possesses so we really enjoyed working with him on this single, which is no doubt a game-changer.

“It was produced by Makumbe Productions and the stable is the most sought after in Zimbabwe at the moment owing to the expertise of their producer G Makumbe.

“The young man has been doing well as a producer and his job has been made easy as he works with the two talented youngsters.

“We can only promise fans nothing, but a well-knit project that will certainly be embraced by many,” he said.

Mbeu, who passed through the tutelage of the late national hero and music icon Oliver “Tuku” Mtukudzi, has never looked back after being weaned-off at the Norton-based facility.

He went on to become a solo act who has done quite a lot to build his own empire.

For Dhuterere, he is one such artiste whose gospel music has managed to touch the hearts of both believers and non-believers.

He has also collaborated with a number of other top artistes like Seh Calaz and Mathias Mhere.

GURUVE top chanters TSG and Action B say they have learned to put God first in everything they do.

The two chanters, who share the same management and promoter, but pursue solo careers, said music was a “thorny” journey and one needed God’s guidance to conquer. We have faced many challenges in music and some of them caused by fans who try and cause conflict.

“It’s easy to turn against each other after hearing some of the “stuff” that fans say.

“We don’t have time to pay attention to the negative things said and we have got this far by prayer and guidance from our spiritual leaders,” said TSG.

Action B went on to thank their promoter, management and fans for believing in them.

“We have a good team on our side that wants to see us succeed and we are very happy about that.

“We have been working with some top Zim dancehall producers and videographers in the past few months and it’s all because of the promoter and management team that has been supporting us.

“We also want to thank the people of Guruve that support us, we will not let them down.”

Action B has songs like

Zvakaoma featuring Jah Signal, Our Country Zim, Dzidzisika, Havasi Kundiziya and

Mdara Mbela.

TSG has songs like Kurusha, Gonye featuring Jah Love, Ndofamba Nemota and Uri Kanjiva.
