TOP WARRIORS FAN DIES
THE football fraternity has been plunged into mourning after the death of Zimbabwe Soccer Supporters Association vice president Eder Judith Javachava.
The well known Warriors and Dynamos fan was involved in an accident on her way to work on Saturday.
Top Warriors fan Chris Romario Musekiwa says it is with great sadness that they learnt of the passing on of one of their own and the football family will miss her.
“We have learnt with shock and sadness on the tragic death of Zimbabwe National Soccer Supporters Association (ZNSSA) vice president and staunch Dynamos fan Eber Judith Javachava. She is mother to Andrew Javachava, the Ngezi Platinum FC team manager.
“She was involved in a road traffic accident this morning on her way to work.
“We have been robbed of a fearless, passionate fan, a caring and loving mother advisor to supporters and players.
“Our deepest condolences to the bereaved family, friends and the entire football fraternity. We pray that God gives us strength and comfort during this tough time,” he said.
“Celebrating a vivacious and bubbling football life which has been cut short, so unbelievable and painful.
“Tete Judith Javachava was one of the most passionate supporters always full of life, a super fan par excellence.
“She was one of the few fans who by the grace of God travelled to Egypt for the 2019 Afcon tournament.”
National football body Zifa issued a statement yesterday:
“Our condolences to the Javachava family on the tragic passing on of Warriors super fan Mrs Judith Javachava. ‘Sisi Judy’ as she was affectionately known was a passionate fan who always rallied our national teams. May the Lord comfort the family. MHDSRP.”
