MR CHINHOYI RELEASES TOUCHING ALBUM
CHINHOYI based sungura musician Jonathan “Mr Chinhoyi” Stumu has released a life touching album titled “Mwana Mucheche”.
In an interview with H-Metro at his Studio (Stumu productions) in Chinhoyi, the crooner said he was inspired by worrying cases where people are always into misunderstandings therefore called for people to resolve issues amicably.
He urged people to avoid keeping grudges when wronged but to easily accept situations and move on.
“You know what tikange tatadzirana we need to behave like vana vacheche vanoti vakatadzirwa hazvitori nguva vatosiyana nazvo or kukanganwirana so we must learn to resolve our issues amicably in our lives,” he said.
The album, which has been received by fans with a bang, is composed of tracks namely “Mwana mucheche”, “Mutambo webhora”, “Taperesa”, “Mwana wemusango” and “Madziteteguru”.
Apart from this new release, Mr Chinhoyi has two other albums namely “Zvirimutsananguro” and “Chichemo”.
Besides being a musician, Mr Chinhoyi is a philanthropist.
He has become a source of inspiration to upcoming artist across Mashonaland West Province who enjoy support from his studio freely for recordings, instruments and free video shootings.
With Covid-19 cases on the rise, Mr Chinhoyi urged fellow artistes to be in
compliance with Covid-19 regulations and recent lockdown measures.
“As artistes let us observe Covid-19 measures to save lives, we need to fully explore online route of doing our business,”
“Also as artistes we have to embrace new technologies at highest levels so as to maintain our fan base, it is also my plea to all other established musicians to assist upcoming musicians to embrace new technologies like I am doing to upcoming artists here,” he said.
