Munyorovi living his dream
LEROY MUNYOROVI says he is excited about his move to Germany and describes it as a dream come true .
The star completed his move to FC Merseburg e.V from Slovakian side MSK Puchov.
“The feeling is great because it’s a dream come true for me as I always wanted to play in Germany.
“To be honest this move was motivated by three things money, competition and location.
“They offered me double from that I was earning at my previous club.
“The level of competition is also high and the country is multicultural,” he said.
Munyorovi has already set targets and says he wants to score goals for his new paymasters.
“Our targets for this season is finishing in top four and as an individual I would like to score as much as I can so as to attract bigger clubs.
“I want to help my team in any way l can in achieving its targets and also scoring goals at the same time,” he said.
“I am a believer you know so whatever is happening its God’s plan but I’m happy with myself like now I just moved to a better league and country.
“And I believe that he has greater things in store for me.
“And this is the beginning of greater things to come,” he said.
His new club plays in the NOFV-Oberliga, the fifth tier.
“I have been in Czech Republic and Slovakia before but football is different here.
“There is exposure and you can easily get discovered by top clubs. “The scouts are everywhere and the society is receptive.
“I’m hoping to grow at this club and, hopefully, one day I can reach my best.”
