The Catalan giants have convinced the Argentine to stay at the Nou Camp after offering him a reduced salary of a measly £1.2million a week.
Even with his cut in salary, the 34-yearold still comfortably remains the best-paid player in the world.
Barcelona had little choice but to cut his salary as they top a whopping £1billion worth of debt.
