Ngezi Platinum Stars star Bruno Mtigo says it will be a dream come true to win the Chibuku Super Cup golden boot.

Mtigo has scored a total of six goals and he is the leading goal scorer in the Chibuku Super Cup.

In an interview with H-Metro yesterday, the Madamburo hitman credited his coach for his fine form.

“First and foremost I am happy with how I have been improving. Things have been going well for me lately and I am grateful to the Almighty.

“The coach has made it clear that we can do better if we play as a team. It is a great honour that we made it to the quarter finals and we are now focusing on our next match.

“My aim is to keep on scoring for the team whenever I get the chance to play. I am now in a space where I am enjoying scoring goals and I am gaining confidence game by game and I believe I have not hit my best yet. I can do more.

“I think the coach has done wonders to me. He

has contributed immensely to my current form, he has helped me to realise my potential and I cannot thank him enough for the trust he has been exhibiting along the way.

“It is something to be proud of. Our team is full of quality players and you have to do more to please the coach and the team.

“I am excited that we are yet to lose and I hope we will keep on winning,” said Mtigo.

He, expressed his wish to win the Chibuku Super Cup golden boot.

“Yes, everything is possible. I am now in a position to say yes I can take it home and am of the view that it is everyone’s wish to win the golden boot. I want to score as many as possible.

“That is the only way I can repay the coach’s trust. However, that will be my second aim. My primary objective is to help the team to win the competition.

I want to thank my teammates who have been helping me on and off the pitch,” he said.
