Tadiwa for Junior Model International . . . seeks US$5K sponsorship
REIGNING Little Miss Zimbabwe Tadiwa Adele Kaseke aspires to conquer the world at the Junior Model International in Dubai from November 23-27.
Given the opportunity, the nine-year old will be part of the 35 contestants ranging from the age of three to 18 including countries such as South Africa, France, UAE, Sri Lanka, Venezuela, Japan, England, Kenya, Nepal, USA, Spain, Malaysia, Vietnam and Columbia.
Tadiwa’s manager and mother, Deleen Masawi Kaseke, said she is looking for financial assistance to fulfil her daughter’s dream to be on the international stage.
In an interview with H-Metro Entertainment & Lifestyle Deleen said they need at least US$5000 to manage to compete for Junior Model International.
“It is an opportunity for my child to prepare herself for greater things to come especially having exposure at a big stage like Junior Model International.
“She needs registration fees, flight tickets and wardrobe.
“And she is also expected to exhibit at the Dubai expo on the Zim stand. We are therefore looking for sponsorship of at least US$5000,” said Deleen.
Deleen said Miss Smile 2019 should use this pageant as a way to represent her nation with pride.
“I expect her to come out of this pageant with pride of who she is and where she comes from as she interacts with other children from the different countries.
“This is the time for her to represent her country and what it stands for, her culture. She must be able to stand tall and say I am Zimbabwean with so much pride,” she said.
Deleen also said the pageant will help Tadiwa to expand her circle, have fun and to learn other cultures.
“Apart from wining in her age group category I am also expecting her to enjoy herself, learn the different cultures, make friends, create memories and above all just to be kids, sign international contracts too,” she added.
