- Mary Mutamiri

GOSPEL sensation, Bethen Pasinawako, says she is determined to make her mark on home soil after her successful tour of South Africa.

The diva has lined up a series of shows after starving fans of live performance during her stint in South Africa, alongside her husband Lyton Ngolomi.

“I have been touring South Africa in recent weeks where I have been preaching to my fans using music.

“Many people thought that I quit music but no, I was born a musician and I will preach the word of God till my last breath.

“The responses from the tours I did were exciting and overwhelming, my fans are so incredible and I really appreciate the love they have for me,” she said.

The songstress said she has also been focusing on her studies from the time she released her last album, in 2020.

“After I released my album in 2020, rumour has been circulating that I quit music. “I never quit music but I was focusing on studies and that time I needed to concentrate more on what I was doing,” she said. She added: “The support that people showed me means a lot to me.

“I didn’t know that my absence in the showbiz affected a lot of people, many people asked why I was so quiet.

“I would like to inform all my fans and followers that I’m here and I will be consistent.” Bethen also revealed she was ready to launch a DVD and album soon.

“Now, I’m focusing on my DVD launch that will be released soon and I’m really excited that people are even ready for it. “After the DVD launch, I will be releasing an album before the end of the year and I will not stop there, I will keep on preaching the word of God,” she added. To date, Bethen has recorded six albums — Aripo, Anotida, Anesu Jesu, Jesu Panama, Paita Nyasha and Eke This Is God’s Time.
