Suddenly, there is life at the Miracle Boys

- Curtworth Masango

SUDDENLY, there is life at the Miracle Boys.

Yadah Stars powered to another impressive result, in the last round of Castle Lager Premiership matches, as they beat Cranborne Bullets 1-0 away from home.

That’s the latest, in a series of impressive results, for Genesis Mangombe’s troops.

The coach said:

“It was a sweet victory, winning away from home is what every coach will be working for,” said Mangombe.

“I am happy with the reliability now and the consistency in the way we are playing.

“Now, we managed to win away from home and I am happy about it.”

Mangombe said he was not reading much into the win as he was now focused on the task ahead against Norman Mapeza’s FC Platinum.

“We are now preparing for the next assignment against FC Platinum. They are doing well and we play the same type of football.

“We have a similar system. They play building from the back, it’s a gradual build-up.

“So, we want to increase our intensity and capitalize on their gradual build-up where we want to work on our fast break and make sure the transition is spot on.

“As for the youngsters, with this consistency, I think we are going somewhere now.

“They now understand the system, they are now aware that we can beat any other team because we are doing it and it’s coming up.”

The coach said he was targeting collecting maximum points, in the next assignments, as they work to push themselves out of the relegation zone for good.

“Before we go for the break, we need to make sure we manage to win at home and, at least, share the spoils away from home if it is a difficult match,” he said.
