MUKAMBA REJOINS DYNAMOS

- Bruce Chikuni

DYNAMOS appear to have bailed out nomadic midfielder, Denver Mukamba.

Mukamba was frozen out at Ngezi Platinum Stars towards the end of last season reportedly due to disciplinary issues, triggering speculation about his future.

However, a Dynamos official told H-Metro that they had agreed to offer the enterprising midfielder a conditional contract.

He is already training with DeMbare and will be soon unveiled as a Dynamos player for the third time in his career.

Sadly, he has earned himself the black sheep status wherever he goes and after his dismissal stint at Ngezi, many had predicted the end of his playing career.*

“Mukamba is here with us, he is training well and we are very impressed with what we have seen from his so far,” said a Dynamos official.

“We have all agreed to give him a contract. We have started the negotiations and we want a win-win situation at the end of the day.

“His contract will be disciplinary-based, and he will be released if he goes against what we agree on, but I can assure you that we are signing him.”

Dynamos are set to travel to Gweru tomorrow for a friendly match against newly promoted Castle Lager Premier Soccer League side, Sheasham, on Saturday.

Mukamba is expected to feature in this fixture.

A huge portion of the club’s fans have been calling for his return.

Meanwhile, Donald “Kante” Mudadi’s camp has confirmed that the player has joined DeMbare on a two-year deal.

Mudadi terminated his contract with relegated Harare City, and his introduction means Dynamos now have two midfielders who share the same nickname.

It’s now a matter of time before the seven million fans distinguishes the real Kante in their camp.

The other Kante is Tanaka Shandirwa, who joined from Yadah Stars.

Mudadi has worked with Dynamos coach, Herbert Maruwa, before at Black Rhinos, and was the Sunshine Boys’ best player last season.
