UMLANDO HIT-MAKER HARARE-BOUND

-

SOUTH AFRICA house musician, Toss, is expected in the country today ahead of his scheduled performance at Habhana Lounge later in the evening.

The Umlando hit-maker will perform at Boss Arch’s birthday. He will be supported by King Her and Langton B.

Event coordinator and socialite, Wanisayi “Mahwindo” Mutandwa confirmed Toss’ visit.

Born Pholoso Masombuka, the 22-yearold’s visit comes at a time the Umlando Challenge has been making waves in the sub-region.

“Toss will be arriving in the country on Friday (today) around 4pm. After his arrival, we will take him for a few interviews before his performance later in the evening.

“Toss is coming specifically for Boss Archie’s birthday party,” she said.

Mahwindo said the birthday party was a bit special since Boss Archie is set to celebrate with his best friends in business.

“This birthday party is unique because Boss Archie has managed to invite an artist from South Africa to come and celebrate with him in Zimbabwe.

“The last time he celebrated his birthday in Cape Town, South Africa, but this time around he is celebrating with a foreign act at his own night club,” she said.

“South Africa-based businessman and music promoter, Boss Sky, is also coming while Brighton Pan Jap is also going to host Boss Archie. Boss Archie is a man of the people who gets along with others. This makes his birthday party unique.”

Habhana Lounge has become the place to be for people holding exclusive parties.

Last week, the club introduced rhumba sessions. DJ Ben, DJ Lucky and Buzie are in charge of the slot.

Located at Southgate Mall along Chiremba Road in Hillside, the venue has been hosting high-profile shows and birthday parties.

The most recent one was socialite and businessman, Brighton “Pan Jap” Ushendibaba’s 36th birthday party.
