TOP ARTISTES SIGNING OFF IN STYLE

WITH the 2023 showbiz scene almost done, top artistes are signing off in style.

Superstar Jah Prayzah, who was set to headline “The Prestige Christmas Affair” at Newlands Country Club last night, will have the “Mother of all Christmas parties” this year.

At last night’s show he was joined by Feli Nandi, Ex Q and DJ Rimo.

Jah Prayzah will now shift focus on the Pakare Paye Christmas show on Monday.

The gig is special for JP as it is about rememberin­g the life of his late mentor, Oliver “Tuku” Mtukudzi.

Mokoomba, the Zimbabwean group with the biggest profile in Europe, will wrap up 2023 with a show at the Rainbow Towers.

This is also always a busy time for Alick Macheso.

Tonight, he performs at Chigarapas­i Beerhall in Chiredzi.

After this gig, he makes a stopover at Gaza Stadium in Chipinge.

On Christmas Eve, he will be in action at Mendel Centre in Watsomba.

He is then set to celebrate Christmas with his fans at Tanza Stadium.

After Christmas, he will hold another gig at Padziva in Dzivaresek­wa Extension on December 29. On New Year’s Day, he will play at the Steak House in Ardbennie.

Suluman Chimbetu is billed to perform at TP Rukawo Motel on December 25.

He then move to Gokwe Leisure Centre on Monday.

Gospel lovers will be in for a treat when Janet Manyowa’s annual event, ANOT (A Night of Thanksgivi­ng), returns to HICC on New’s Day.

Top South African gospel artists, Bishop Benjamini Dube and Khaya Mthetwa, will take part in the event.

Pastor G, Tembalami, The Unveiled and the Joyful Praise Choir will share the stage with Janet Manyowa.

The country’s top upcoming musicians have lined up end-of-year parties at various venues.
