GOSPEL singer Janet Manyowa’s camp is not resting on their laurels after a successful 2023 season, stating that “hard work is our staple”.

The manager and her husband, Munyaradzi Manyowa, highlighte­d their successes, including the release of the Father’s House album and launch, ANOT events, and internatio­nal traction.

The camp is already planning for ANOT 2025 and WANQOBA (Concert) in Bulawayo in June, and musical engagement­s, tours and corporate social responsibi­lity initiative­s in 2024.

She pulled a full house at the ANOT 24 show held on New Year’s Day at the Harare Internatio­nal Conference Centre.

Janet shared the stage with Benjamin Dube, Khaya Mthetwa, Loyiso Bala, Tembalami, Joyful Praise, The Unveiled, Tariro Negitare and Bethen Pasinawako.

Her camp seeks to collaborat­e and harness relationsh­ips beyond borders while empowering young talent under their talent identifica­tion initiative.

“We will seek to collaborat­e and harness relationsh­ips beyond borders to continuous­ly learn and train our internal talent on modern trends while ensuring our quality control mechanisms are top-notch to maintain standards.

“We are grateful for all the love and support we received in 2023. It is the fans who make JMM (Janet

Manyowa Music) what it is,” said Munyaradzi.

“We have a subsidiary under our parent company, G3 Music, which essentiall­y identifies and nurtures young talent, especially from the grassroots.

“We will be working on recording deals for many of these upcoming artists, especially in this season wherein we have just celebrated 10 years of growth. Our focus is giving back to the community,” he said.

Janet urged Zimbabwean­s not to lose hope. “God is still on the throne; He is in control. Don’t lose heart, no matter the circumstan­ces, it will come to pass,” she said.

Janet is unquestion­ably the country’s most consistent gospel musician, and this can be attributed to hard work, profession­alism and stayShe ing away from controvers­y. has amassed several accolades both locally and abroad over the years.
