GOSPEL singer Janet Manyowa’s camp is not resting on their laurels after a successful 2023 season, stating that “hard work is our staple”.
The manager and her husband, Munyaradzi Manyowa, highlighted their successes, including the release of the Father’s House album and launch, ANOT events, and international traction.
The camp is already planning for ANOT 2025 and WANQOBA (Concert) in Bulawayo in June, and musical engagements, tours and corporate social responsibility initiatives in 2024.
She pulled a full house at the ANOT 24 show held on New Year’s Day at the Harare International Conference Centre.
Janet shared the stage with Benjamin Dube, Khaya Mthetwa, Loyiso Bala, Tembalami, Joyful Praise, The Unveiled, Tariro Negitare and Bethen Pasinawako.
Her camp seeks to collaborate and harness relationships beyond borders while empowering young talent under their talent identification initiative.
“We will seek to collaborate and harness relationships beyond borders to continuously learn and train our internal talent on modern trends while ensuring our quality control mechanisms are top-notch to maintain standards.
“We are grateful for all the love and support we received in 2023. It is the fans who make JMM (Janet
Manyowa Music) what it is,” said Munyaradzi.
“We have a subsidiary under our parent company, G3 Music, which essentially identifies and nurtures young talent, especially from the grassroots.
“We will be working on recording deals for many of these upcoming artists, especially in this season wherein we have just celebrated 10 years of growth. Our focus is giving back to the community,” he said.
Janet urged Zimbabweans not to lose hope. “God is still on the throne; He is in control. Don’t lose heart, no matter the circumstances, it will come to pass,” she said.
