‘King of the Heart’

- Curtworth Masango

KING Nadolo has penned a two-year deal with Yadah, moving from TelOne who are returning to the Premier Soccer League this season via the ZIFA Central Region Division One league.

The midfielder joined Yadah last season on loan from TelOne on deadline day after initially being set to join CAPS United.

He became a crucial member of the squad in their quest for survival. Nadolo scored crucial goals for the club, including in their 2-1 win over Dynamos in the final match of the season for them to survive relegation.

Nadolo is one of the key players that will be turning for Yadah in a season they will officially use The Heart Stadium as their home ground.

Last season Yadah were one of the clubs that haphazardly used any available stadium in the country to host their games amid the stadia crisis last season.

Club chairman Everson Chatambudza confirmed the signing of Nadolo on a permanent deal.

“Having him at the club is a big boost to the squad considering he is one of the best players in the league.

“He was at the club last season and he showed what he is capable of doing. He helped us a lot in many difficult situations and made his brilliance count for the team.

“He comes in with a lot of experience as he has seen it all in domestic football and I am quite sure he can be a great addition to any club he joins and we are quite sure the club will benefit from his services.

“The club is also still assessing several players and very soon we will announce our final squad.”

Chatambudza revealed that the club is aiming high as they are tired of fighting relegation and he also believes having a home stadium will be a major boost.

“As a club, we are tired of fighting relegation every season, and the reason we are looking forward to having a very brilliant season is because we are at a point where we should be saying we are going to finish in the top four.

“We will be looking to utilise home advantage as we are going to be using our stadium and do all due diligence that will see us succeed,” he said.
