DEMBARE DON’T WANT MATINDIFE TO PLAY AGAINST THEM

- Curtworth Masango Sports Reporter

DYNAMOS will grant Tendai Matindife his wish to join rivals CAPS United on loan but there is a catch.

The Glamour Boys want an arrangement which will see him go on loan in an agreement which will see him being barred from playing against them.

That is also the case with Jayden Bakari, who has also joined Makepekepe.

Matindife, who is already training with the Green Machine, played for them in a pre-season friendly against MWOS in Norton over the weekend.

A source at Dynamos said they were willing to let him cross the floor.

“The club is not worried that he will be joining our rivals CAPS United because we put clauses in the contracts that won’t see our loaned players playing against us.

“Already, we have sent Jayden Bakari on loan to them.

“Even though they are our rivals we have a history of doing business.

“Of course, we are going to assist the player to join CAPS United on loan as it might give him a new leaf of life in his football career.

“The player went AWOL at some point and that compromised his working relationship with his immediate supervisors.

“Within the Dynamos ranks, everyone understands that he is very talented and can be of great addition to every squad in the country but his major challenge is failing to play to his potential.”

Matindife has already become a darling of the CAPS United fans even though he has just featured for them in one match.

He impressed in that friendly on Saturday and coach Lloyd Chitembwe believes he can be turned into a real gem.

“His advantage is that Lodza has liked what he has seen and has committed himself to helping this boy reach his potential,” said a source.

“It’s a rare thing for Lodza to get bowled over by a young player but this boy is different.”
